Jay Gee Wigmo 5 year old gelding by First Trump out of Queen of Shannon.

Jay Gee Wigmo is out of Queen of Shannon and is the half brother to Wigmo Princess and Jessica Wigmo, both winners.

 Queen of Shannon, herself a multiple winner on the flat, is by Raj Kumari. whom we bred during the early 1980's. We also bred her mother Swiftacre, dam of the Swedish 1000 Guineas winner Cheerleader.

Swiftacre was the first born progeny of our first raremare, Misacre. Misacre, produced Amarone by Realm, Golden Flame by Hot Grove, and Landski by Niniski, all of whom won. During the late 80's, our bloodstock interests were sold, so it is not only a testament to our father’s breeding program but also honour that we now have a part of our history under our ownership.

Although, Jay Gee has not performed on the track even though he did finish 3rd in a 0-75 handicap at Chepstow, his job, should he not be able to continue his racing career, will be ironically, to be a lead horse to the Amaroni (by Sulamani ex Fortunes Favourite).

It would seem we have come full circle even after 25 years !
